WTF IS Manifesting + Visualizing

Hey girl!

Today is a longer than normal email. So bucker down and read this jazz anyhow:)

Recently Julie Wojno/Ohlemacher and I put on the Dream Life Event and Julie spoke on the importance of manifestation. Just before this event I was like, "Julie WTF. How is it that everything you touch just turns to gold!?"

She told me she works a lot on visualization + manifestation and I'll share those event takeaways at the bottom of the email. It's basically a manifestation 101 for people like me who don't really know what the heck I'm suppose to be doing.

I ALSO had a recent call with an awesome relationship coach, Angie. I spoke the words to her, "I just cannot visualize myself married for the life of me even though I WANT to be married at some point." After speaking to her more, I realized I'm scared to visualize this dreamy situation b/c what if it doesn't happen for me? I'll be left with sadness. She encouraged me to find a couple minutes where I felt rested and safe (like the end of a yoga class) and just give myself space to dream up how I want to FEEL in my ideal relationship situation.

All of this to say, I DO BELIEVE if we cannot visualize something for ourselves then how in the world do we expect it to ever become real? I'm not someone who just thinks dream it and it'll be real but there is a lot of power in our mindset and thoughts we feed ourselves and actions we take.

Here's the workshop notes on Manifesting via Julie:

Julie shared how she manifested winning 10 grand at her health coach school and went on stage to share her story to thousands of people.

KEY: Our thoughts/beliefs create our reality
KEY: We have it in our mind, it comes into my reality
KEY: Get clear on your WHY with your desires. What does having this desire do for you?
KEY: Don't attach your worth to getting this desire.


Number 1: OWN MY DESIRES
Write out your desires.
Write a statement as if your desire has become real, "I AM SO HAPPY THAT ______."
Write out who would benefit if this desire were real. Ex. family, friends, etc
Lose any guilt associated with these desires.
Don't be afraid to say I DESERVE THIS.

Number 2 NOTICE THE LIMITING BELIEFS
Q1: If i were to give doubt a microphone to speak her mind, what would she say about this desire?
Q2: If I were to give fear a microphone to speak her mind, what would she say about this desire?
Call out the limiting belief as false. Begin work on up-leveling that belief so DO THE OPPOSITE. What's the opposite of this belief?
Be aware of what pops up as your limiting beliefs.


Number 3: EMBODY THE VERSION OF YOU WHO ALREADY HAS WHAT YOU DESIRE
Our thoughts create feelings, our feelings create energy. Get into the feelings of what it FEELS LIKE to have this desire.
Sit and visualize this as your reality.
We don't set goals that ONE DAY WHEN I HAVE THAT THING I'LL BE ACHIEVED. We want to be THAT PERSON and be THAT VERSION OF YOU right now. Who are you being?

Number 4: TAKE PHYSICAL ACTION
We must take physical action.

Number 5: SURRENDER
Letting go of attachment.
