Today we're meeting Allyson Winkel, helping meet all your virtual assistant needs!
Why I started:
I want to be able to (hopefully) make this my full time job in the near future so I have the flexibility to be home with my daughter! Ever since she was born and the dreaded return to work approached, I found myself constantly searching for ways to be able to stay home. After doing a TON of research, this seemed like a great fit for both my personality and lifestyle I wanted!
What I love about being a business owner:
I love the flexibility and the sky being the limit. I have the choice of how busy I want to be and how much I want to make. I also love being able to inspire others to go out and do the same thing!
What type of impact do you hope to have on those you meet/or who purchase your products?
I hope to be able to inspire people to go against the 9-5 and truly choose the life they want! I also hope that business owners feel well taken care of when they work with me, and that they can truly trust someone to get their tasks done! I know as a business owner, it can be difficult to allow others to take over specific things, so I hope they feel comfortable and trusting enough to do so with me!
Who or what inspires you?
Besides the obvious people like my husband and daughter, who always inspire me to be a better person and to go after my dreams, my sister is a big inspiration to me. She has owned a salon and has strived to constantly learn and continue to offer so many amazing services to her clients, from hand tied extensions all the way to her most recent endeavor, spray tanning. She is always inspiring me to go after my dreams and always encouraging me!
What is your favorite piece of advice you’ve ever received or favorite quote?
You can’t win if you never try.
What does Beauty mean to you?
Beauty is more than just looks on the outside. Beauty is what’s in your heart and soul!
What advice would you give your past self just starting your business?
I know it’s scary and you have a lot of doubt, but you will be SO thankful that you started! You can do it!!
