Hey y’all my name is Faith and I live in Columbus OH with my college sweetheart, Kevin, and our fur baby, Bella.
Why I Started:
I built Alo Civitas Consulting because vision alone isn’t enough. I watched too many leaders—myself included—pour their souls into their missions, only to hit a wall. After facing burnout four times before 30, I recognized the same story repeating itself in boardrooms, nonprofits, and small businesses everywhere. I knew I could either accept that reality—or build a better one. So I chose to become part of the solution. Because when we know better, we build stronger, lead bolder, and create impact that lasts.
What I love about being a business owner:
I love being a business owner because I get to build with intention. I get to take my story and turn it into a blueprint that helps other leaders sustain their missions. Every time I help someone lead with more clarity, confidence, and capacity, it reminds me why I chose this path. Now that I’ve built a team, it’s incredibly rewarding to see them fully bought into the mission—serving our clients with heart and excitement. And one of my greatest joys is pouring into the next generation of leaders and watching them rise.
What type of impact do you hope to have on those you meet and/or who purchase from you?
I hope that everyone who engages with us leaves feeling empowered, energized, and equipped to take their life or organization to the next level. My goal isn’t just to provide a service—it’s to spark a shift. I want people to walk away with clarity, confidence, and a sense that their vision is not only possible but within reach. If I can help leaders feel seen, supported, and capable of building something sustainable, then we’ve done our job.
Who or what inspires you?
The leaders that I work with inspire me everyday. They have such big goals on how they want to impact the world and keep me pushing forward.
What is your favorite piece of advice you’ve ever received or favorite quote?
Rest is productive too
What does BEAUTY mean to you?
To me beauty is being genuine and authentic to who you are! It is easy to compare and judge yourself, but be you. Everyone else is already taken.
What advice would you give your past self just starting your business?
Take time to pour back into yourself. You cannot give from an empty cup.
