HER STORY ⟡ Jenny Dedrick
My name is Jenny Dedrick, and I live in Louisville, KY, though I’m originally from the East Coast. I’m a mom, a wife, and a lifelong learner. I founded Holistic Coaching in 2020—four years after I began my own deep healing journey.
That journey has taken me through many dark nights of the soul. I survived a 10-year toxic marriage, faced the ongoing challenges of co-parenting, and spent years living in a constant state of survival, thinking, “This must be as good as it gets.” Everything shifted after a health crisis became my wake-up call. I realized I had to take ownership of my story and say yes to the long, messy, but beautiful path of healing.
On the other side of that season, I found myself ready to share what I’d learned and invite others into a new way of living—one that honors the body, mind, and soul. I’ve untangled from perfectionism and the need to over-perform, and I’m now passionate about helping others step into lives of peace, balance, and meaning.
Why I Started
In my own healing work, I kept meeting women with stories that echoed mine—women struggling to regulate their nervous systems, hold boundaries, release hustle culture, and prioritize their wellbeing without guilt.
I created Holistic Coaching as a space where women could safely reconnect with themselves, create sustainable support systems, and begin to heal—emotionally, physically, and spiritually. Whether it’s learning how to live from a more grounded place, cultivating healthier relationships, or redefining success through rest and alignment, I’m here to walk alongside others who are ready to step out of survival mode and into wholeness.
What is your favorite piece of advice or favorite quote?
“If I am not intentional about my life, then everyone else’s intentions will become my reality.”
What does BEAUTY mean to you?
To me, beauty is authenticity. It’s the way someone carries truth, softness, and strength at the same time. It’s not about appearances—it’s about presence. Real beauty is felt. It’s in the courage to be seen, the freedom to rest, and the willingness to live fully aligned with who you truly are.
What advice would you give your past self just starting your business?
Be patient with yourself. Things take time—and just because it’s moving slowly doesn’t mean you won’t grow. Steady, thoughtful work will build a business with depth and a strong foundation. Some of your best lessons will come through the mess, not in spite of it. This journey is just as much about discovering yourself as it is about building something meaningful.
What would you like Beauty Boost members to know?
Communities like this—where women support women—are exactly where I want to be. Growth feels better when we do it together, and this is a space where you're encouraged to show up fully as you are.
