Today, we are meeting Emma Hollenback-Betts of EmmaClaire Esthetics!
Why I started:
I started in esthetics by accident. After being told forever I’m “too smart” for beauty school, I made it my power. I ran a small cosmetics company through college and after feeling lost after graduating, I went to esthetics school to elevate my business and fell in love with the art of facials. With my background in psychology, I know how much your nervous system can calm simply through human touch, connection, and validation.
What I love about being a business owner:
Being able to connect with like minded people and build a unique community, and being able to make people feel like the best version of themselves. What type of impact do you hope to have on those who meet you and or purchase: I hope that everyone I meet can feel beautiful in their own skin, accepting that no one has perfect skin, and that healthy skin is the goal.
Who or what inspires you:
Music inspires me by sparking different emotions, reminding me of how variable the human experience is, and how I have the power to change someone’s day, as well as their life through skin transformations.
What is your favorite piece of advice:
Chase progress, not perfection. Change doesn’t happen overnight! What advice would you give your past self just starting your business: If you can make one person feel heard or seen each day, you are successful.
