Today, we are meeting Nikki Kasibhatta, Realtor with Rutledge Properties!
What type of impact do you hope to have on the people you work with:
I want to be more than the person who found you a house. I want to be your connection to the whole community, the one who knows the market and the neighborhood, the schools, and the people. My hope is that every family I work with feels like they landed somewhere they belong, not just somewhere they bought. If I did my job right, they stop feeling like newcomers.
Who or what inspires you?
My daughter, first and always. She reminds me daily why being present matters. The immigrant families I work with inspire me too. The courage it takes to start over in a new country is something I lived, and I never stop admiring it. And the women in my community, especially the moms who show up for each other every single day.
Favorite piece of advice or quote:
Don’t let the fear of uncertainty stop you from taking the leap.
What does BEAUTY mean to you?
Beauty, to me, is belonging. It’s the feeling of walking into a home or a community and knowing you fit. I’ve watched families go from anxious and out of place to rooted and confident, and there is nothing more beautiful than that. Beauty is people feeling at home in their own lives.
What advice would you give your past self just starting your business?
Trust that your background is your edge, not a detour. I used to think leaving my corporate career meant starting over at zero. It didn’t. Everything I lived as an immigrant, as a mom, as someone who had to figure out a whole new country, is exactly what makes me good at this. Stop doubting it and lead with it sooner.
What would you like the Beauty Boost members to know?
That I’m proud to be part of a community of women who show up for each other. And on a practical note, MetroWest Boston is my world. I help people buy, sell, and rent out here, and I know these towns inside and out.
