HER STORY ⟡ Sarah Rein
Today, we are meeting Sarah Rein, Co-Founder of MEDgevity!
Tell us about you
I’m a Fort Lauderdale native (really!). I’ve spent my career in healthcare, primarily working alongside physicians and health systems to help them grow and operate more effectively. I always knew I wanted to be in healthcare, but I was a bit too squeamish to become a doctor, so I found my place on the operational side, helping make care better behind the scenes.
Over the last decade, I’ve seen firsthand how complex and frustrating the healthcare system can be, and that’s really shaped my passion for improving it.
I’m also a big family person - very close with my parents, brothers, and sisters-in-law, and a proud aunt to two amazing nephews. I have a wonderful, supportive partner, and outside of work, I’ve been on my own personal health journey over the past few years. At one point, I found myself feeling uncomfortable in my body and realized I had unknowingly gained nearly 100 pounds since high school, putting me on the verge of serious health complications. That experience completely changed my perspective and ultimately helped shape the work I do today.
Tell us about your business:
MEDgevity is a physician-led, science-backed longevity healthcare practice focused on helping people get to the root of their health concerns and goals.
Everything we do is grounded in evidence - we stay aware of trends, but we don’t chase fads. Our focus is on solutions that are sustainable and actually work.
Our care is also deeply personalized - there’s no one-size-fits-all approach. Members work with a dedicated team that includes board-certified physicians, registered dietitians, and exercise physiologists, all collaborating to create a plan tailored to each individual.
Why I started:
I’ve seen how reactive our healthcare system can be and how much opportunity there is to shift toward prevention. You don’t have to wait until something is “wrong” to take control of your health.
Through my own journey, I also realized how much influence we actually have over how we feel, how we function, and how we age. That’s incredibly empowering.
At the same time, healthcare can feel overwhelming and confusing. I wanted to help make it simpler to give people clear guidance, real support, and a path forward that feels doable.
What I love about being a business owner:
One of my favorite parts is connecting directly with our members - celebrating their wins, supporting them through challenges, and being someone they can rely on.
I also feel incredibly lucky to work alongside such a talented team. I’m constantly learning from our physicians, dietitians, and exercise specialists, and it’s knowledge I get to apply in my own life as well.
What type of impact do you hope to have on those you meet and/or who purchase your products?
I hope we help people feel confident, capable, and excited about their health.
Whether someone has a specific goal - like running a marathon or losing weight - or a broader goal like living longer and feeling better, I want MEDgevity to give them the tools and support to make it happen. And most importantly, I want them to feel like they’re not doing it alone.
Who or what inspires you?
I’m inspired by people who take ownership of their health and make meaningful changes, even when it’s hard. Seeing our members transform - physically, mentally, and emotionally - is incredibly motivating.
I’m also inspired by the team I work with every day. Being surrounded by people who are deeply committed to helping others live better lives pushes me to be better as well.
What is your favorite piece of advice you've ever received or favorite quote?
“Focus on progress, not perfection.”
It’s simple, but it’s something I come back to often - both in business and in health. Real, lasting change doesn’t come from being perfect; it comes from showing up consistently and improving over time.
What does BEAUTY mean to you?
To me, beauty starts from within. It’s about confidence - not just in how you look, but in who you are. It’s how you treat others, how you take care of yourself, and the kind of energy you bring into the world. When someone feels strong, healthy, and confident, that’s what truly shines.
What advice would you give your past self just starting your business?
Things will go wrong, and that’s part of the process.
No matter how much you plan, not everything will go perfectly. What matters most is how you respond. People remember how you show up for them, especially when things aren’t perfect Lead with empathy, communicate clearly, and focus on doing right by people. That will always matter more than perfection.
What would you like our Beauty Boost members to know?
If you’re not feeling your best, you’re not alone - and there’s nothing “wrong” with you. There are answers out there, and you deserve to find them. Whether it’s through MEDgevity or another resource, don’t stop advocating for yourself.
And be cautious of quick fixes - true, lasting health takes time. Stay consistent, trust the process, and know that progress is possible.
