Today, we are meeting Agnes Usoro, founder of River Oaks Galleria Medspa!

Why did you start River Oaks Galleria Medspa? 

I was inspired by the cancer journeys of my parents and a friend who lost her battle to cancer. I came to appreciate the need for preventative medicine, rather than reactive medicine. I developed a passion for regenerative therapies and how to apply regenerative medicine to the fields of health, wellness, and aesthetics. I founded River Oaks Galleria (ROG) Medspa to be an all-inclusive center for regenerative health, wellness, and aesthetics, where we help those in the community to look and feel their absolute best, despite life’s challenges. At River Oaks Galleria (ROG) Medspa, our priority is self-care.  

What inspires me? 

I am inspired by my patients who are positively impacted by our services, whether its rejuvenating therapies to the head and neck, hormone balancing, hair growth, improving their skin, or counseling them on cancer early detection resources, my patients keep me motivated to keep my business going. 

What is your favorite quote? 

Faith it until you make it (instead of the hackneyed phrase fake it until you make it which defines Imposter Syndrome). 

What advice would you give to your past self just starting your business?

Everything will work out as it should; take time to yourself to decompress and appreciate how far you've come.

I am a girl's girl. I love supporting women entrepreneurs and women-owned businesses. I truly believe in Beyonce's claim that Girls run the world!
