Hi, I'm Amber. I'm a born-and-raised Sacramento girl, a proud mom to an incredible son who now lives in New York—a dream we manifested together and one of my greatest joys to witness.
My life changed dramatically in 2019 when my 16-year marriage ended. I had spent years married to someone struggling with addiction and alcoholism, and when the marriage finally ended, I made a promise to myself: I would heal. I was determined not to become bitter, angry, or defined by my pain.I immediately began traditional therapy and threw myself into personal growth. Alongside therapy, I explored holistic healing practices like meditation, yoga, and sound baths.
For the first time, I began creating space to reconnect with myself.Then in 2020, my life shifted again.I was introduced to a truly magical person who would later become both a close friend and a teacher. Multiple teachers then immerged and provided guidance. I was introduced to the world of herbs, oils, candle magic, ritual baths, and intuitive practices. Most importantly, they taught me to trust myself.I became fascinated by the connection between intention, ritual, and personal transformation. I spent countless hours learning, experimenting, and following my intuition. I started creating custom herbal powders and developing simple rituals for myself, never imagining where it would eventually lead.
By 2022, magic had become woven into my everyday life. My goal was no longer to practice magic occasionally—it was to create a life that felt magical! That looked like handcrafted ritual baths on Monday nights, love magic on Fridays, and enchanting everything from candles to bath salts I brought home from Marshalls. My favorite part of every day became a candlelit shower followed by a devotional skincare ritual. These small moments became sacred acts of self-love, self-worth, and intention.As my confidence grew, I slowly began sharing this side of myself with close friends and family. I started creating candles and magical products for my sister, my best friends, and the women closest to me. They would come back excitedly sharing stories of opportunities, healing, love, confidence, and unexpected blessings that appeared after working with my creations.Their experiences inspired me to continue.
In 2024, I began crafting candles for women's circles, healing retreats, sound baths, and community gatherings. For the first time, I allowed myself to be fully seen. What had once been a private practice became something I shared openly with others.The response was overwhelming.Women connected with the work because it wasn't just about candles, it was about creating moments of intention. It was about collective healing. It was about reclaiming joy, confidence, self-worth, and personal power.
In 2025, I officially launched Amber's Enchanted Apothecary to make my creations more accessible to the women who were seeking them.What started as my own healing journey became a business, a community, and a calling. Amber's Enchanted Apothecary was born from healing, transformation, and a desire to help women romanticize their lives, trust their intuition, and remember the magic that has always lived within them.
Favorite Piece of Advice Received:
When I was learning to trust my intuition, a teacher told me something that completely changed the way I see the world:"Never assume it's a coincidence."He encouraged me to always ask, "What is the significance of this?"That advice taught me to pay attention. The more awareness I brought to the details around me, the more connected I became to my intuition, my magic, and the guidance that was always there waiting for me to notice it.
What Does Beauty Mean to You?
To me, beauty is devotion. Beauty is the practice of choosing yourself, again and again.It's found in the small rituals we create for ourselves every day—a candlelit shower, a luxurious skincare routine, taking the time to shave and oil my legs, being present with myself.These acts may seem small, but they are powerful. They signal to the universe that I am worthy of care, pleasure, and attention. They remind me to embody Divine Feminine energy and to romanticize my life in simple, meaningful ways.
