This week we're introducing you to an amazing gal: Kristen Egan of FACE FOUNDRIÉ Broward County.

Tell us about you:

Hi, I’m Kristen. I live in Hollywood, Florida, with my dog and love making the most out of life through fun experiences and quality time with the people I care about. I enjoy spending time with my family, taking road trips around Florida, golfing whenever I can, and going to concerts to see my favorite artists. I also love staying active and trying new things, especially learning how to cook new dishes. I’m someone who values adventure, connection, and always finding new ways to enjoy life.

Why did you start this business?

I love being part of FACE FOUNDRIÉ because it allows me to help make professional skincare accessible to more people and show that self-care can be both effective and approachable. Being able to impact someone’s day by helping them feel more confident in their skin is incredibly rewarding. I’m passionate about creating positive experiences, building confidence, and helping people look and feel their best.

What do you love about being a business owner?

I love being a business owner because it gives me the opportunity to help others grow and succeed, especially new estheticians who are just beginning their careers. It’s incredibly rewarding to mentor them, build their confidence, and give them the tools they need to chase their dreams. Watching someone develop their skills and create a future they’re proud of is one of the most fulfilling parts of what I do.

What type of impact do you hope to have on those you meet?

The impact I hope to make on people is to ensure they feel genuinely welcomed the moment they walk through our doors. I want every guest to leave feeling more knowledgeable about their skin and more confident in themselves. I truly believe beauty starts from within, and when people feel happy and confident, they continue to make a positive impact on those around them.

Who or what inspires you?

I truly believe everyone is unique and has their own gifts, and there is something powerful about helping people recognize and embrace that in themselves. I’m also inspired by the estheticians I work with—their drive, creativity, and courage to build careers they’re passionate about.

What is your favorite quote?

One of my favorite quotes is “Do not be afraid.” It’s one of the most repeated phrases in the Bible, and I think there’s a reason for that. It’s a reminder to move forward with courage, even when things feel uncertain or intimidating, and to trust yourself and the path ahead.

What does BEAUTY mean to you?

To me, it’s all about energy—the way someone carries themselves and how they make others feel. The most beautiful people are the ones who uplift those around them, creating space for others to feel seen, valued, and confident too.

What advice would you give your past self just starting your business? 

I would tell my past self to trust the process and not be afraid to grow through the uncomfortable parts. Stay focused on your purpose, lean into your strengths, and don’t be afraid to ask for help or invest in learning. Most importantly, challenges will arise and mistakes will happen and if you can learn from them they are your greatest teachers.

I want Beauty Boost members to feel genuinely welcome in our stores. We are here to serve them, support them, and educate them throughout their skincare journey. Our goal is to help them feel comfortable in their own skin and confident in taking care of it.
