HER STORY ⟡ Dr. Carolina Sueldo
Today, we are meeting Dr. Carolina Sueldo of Ceibo Fertility Center!
Tell us about you
I'm Dr. Carolina Sueldo — a double board-certified Fertility Specialist (ObGyn / REI), and the founder of Ceibo Fertility Center in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Born in California, my high school and medical school years were spent in my parents' native country of Argentina. I finished my training in 2015 and have spent my career helping my patients build their families. In 2023, I moved back to South Florida and opened the doors to my boutique fertility practice, Ceibo Fertility Center where we believe in "Fertility Care Reimagined". Outside the clinic, I'm a wife and mom to two littles, a traveler, and passionate about eeverything to do with Argentina. I'm a believer in community, in women supporting women, and in the idea that how you care for people matters just as much as what you know.
Tell us about your business
Ceibo Fertility Center is a boutique IVF and fertility practice built on a simple but powerful belief: that the doctor-patient relationship is the foundation of exceptional care. We combine cutting-edge technology and clinical expertise with something that's becoming increasingly rare in medicine — a physician who actually knows your name, your story, and your why. At Ceibo, every decision we make comes back to the patient in front of us. That's what "Fertility Care Reimagined" means to us.
What I love about being a business owner
Owning my practice means every decision — from how we design the patient experience to how we show up on a hard day — reflects my values. I also love that I get to build something that is creating so much impact in my community. Every month, Ceibo grows because of the culture and the care we've intentionally created.
What type of impact do you hope to have on those you meet and/or who purchase your products?
I want every patient who walks through our doors to feel seen — not like a number in a cycle, but like a person whose dream of parenthood genuinely matters. When patients feel supported by their medical team, they are more likely to stay in treatment and be successful!Beyond the clinic, I hope to normalize conversations about fertility and reproductive health so that women can be empowered to make informed decisions earlier, with less fear and more confidence. There is still a lot of work to be done in the arena of hormone health education. If I can change how even one woman thinks about her own body and her options, that's impact.
Who or what inspires you?
My patients inspire me every single day — their resilience, their hope, and the courage it takes to walk into a fertility clinic and ask for help. They are "My Why."I'm also deeply inspired by women who are building: businesses, families, communities, movements. There's something about watching another woman bet on herself that makes me want to keep going, keep building, and keep showing up.
What is your favorite piece of advice you've ever received or favorite quote?
"The life you want lives on the other side of the choices that scare you."Opening Ceibo meant walking away from everything predictable, everything that was known and familiar to me in medicine. It meant stepping off the traditional path and betting entirely on my values — that medicine should be personal, that patients deserve more, and that a different way was possible. I've been living in alignment with my values and I've never looked back.
What does BEAUTY mean to you?
Beauty, to me, is wholeness. It's a woman who knows what she wants and goes after it — whether that's a baby, a business, or both. In my world, beauty shows up in the moment a patient sees a heartbeat on an ultrasound for the first time, or the morning a founder realizes her dream is actually working. It's not a look. It's a feeling of being fully, unapologetically yourself.
What advice would you give your past self just starting your business?
Trust your gut and lean into the discomfort — it means you're growing. I spent a lot of energy in the early days trying to make everything perfect before launching, before posting, before showing up. I wish I had started messier and learned faster. Also: build your community before you think you need it. The relationships you invest in early are the ones that carry you through the hard seasons and I was blessed with an incredible community that got me through.
What would you like our Beauty Boost members to know?
That fertility is a wellness conversation, not just a medical one — and the best time to have it is before you feel urgency. Whether you're building a family now, later, or just want to understand your options, knowing your reproductive health baseline is an act of self-care. And if you're ever curious, our doors (and DMs) are open. We built Ceibo for women exactly like the ones in this community.
