HER STORY ⟡ Jolene of Light Mind Life

Today, we are meeting Jolene of Light Mind Life!

Tell us why you started your business:

I created Light Mind Life because I've found patterns with my clients during my 15 years of counseling in my private practice. Specifically, introverted women, are women who overgive and don't get the close loving relationships that they desire. I've spent years watching clients feel distant and disappointed in their romantic relationships. Light Mind Life is here to help introverted professional women put the spark, intimacy, and communication back into their romantic relationships.

What do you love most about being a business owner?

I love being a business owner because I can hop on a call and help women take the shortcut to the close communication that they dream of. There's no red tape. I'm the owner so I can keep it simple and help introverts use their natural gifts and talents. I get to work with my dream clients, introverted women. They are GREAT!

What type of impact do you hope to have on those you meet and/or who purchase your products?

I strive to impact people who join Navigating Conversations with Self-Love to simplify their communication, conserve their energy (stop overgiving), and use their energy for what's important in their life, Self-Love and enjoying life.

Who or what inspires you?

I'm inspired by introverted women, I see over and over how competent they can be in the world. Their compassion for other people is deep. We need these women to help sculpt our reality where compassion is valued.

What is your favorite piece of advice you've ever received or favorite quote?

My favorite quote that I’ve heard is a philosopher’s quote that I found over 20 years ago. But, it's stuck with me for all this time. “Watch your thoughts, they become your words; watch your words, they become your actions; watch your actions, they become your habits; watch your habits, they become your character; watch your character, it becomes your destiny.” ― Lao Tzu

What does BEAUTY mean to you?

Beauty means to me a generous mind with kindness and compassion for yourself. When you have compassion for yourself it spreads to others.

What advice would you give your past self just starting your business?

The advice I'd give to my past self, just starting this business would be to Trust the Process – Progress isn’t always a straight path, and it’s perfectly normal to encounter setbacks along the way. Remember to be patient with yourself and embrace the learning opportunities that come with these challenges. Growth takes time, and you’re not alone in this journey.

What would you like our Beauty Boost members to know?

I’d love for women to know that embracing self-love can be transformative, especially when it comes to relationships. My course, Navigating Conversations with Self-Love, was designed to help introverted women like you deepen your connections by first understanding and honoring your needs. It’s about learning to communicate with confidence and clarity, even in the most challenging moments, and creating more meaningful and fulfilling relationships.
