Tell us about you!
I'm Megan - a wife, mom, daughter, sister and friend who loves traveling, thrifting, fashion and finding hidden gems. I'm the owner of Finders Keepers Thrift Boutique, where I get to combine my love for style with helping women feel confident without breaking the bank. When I'm not working, you'll usually find me planning my next adventure, reading a good thriller or spending time with my family and friends.
Tell us about your business!
Finders Keepers Thrift Boutique is all about making fashion fun, affordable and accessible. I have quality thrifted pieces and share them through online sales, pop-up events, and personalized style boxes. My goal is to help women find pieces they love, build confidence in what they wear and prove that you don't have to spend a fortune to have great style. More than anything, I love creating a community where women can support each other while shopping small.
Why I started:
I started my business because I needed something that was mine. I was feeling burnt out, stuck in the routine and not fulfilled creatively. What began as a side hustle turned into something so much bigger - a space where I could create, connect, and build a life that actually aligned with my priorities. I wanted freedom, purpose, and the ability to show up fully for my family… and I found all of that here.
What I love about being a business owner:
The freedom. The creativity. The fact that I get to build something from my heart every single day. I love that no two days look the same, that I can pivot when I want and that I’ve created a business that fits my life not the other way around. And honestly? There’s nothing better than knowing I built this from the ground up.
What type of impact do you hope to have on those you meet and/or who purchase your products?
I want people to feel seen, confident, and excited when they interact with my brand. Whether it’s finding that perfect piece, scoring a deal or just being part of the community - I want it to feel fun, uplifting, and real. If I can make someone feel good in what they’re wearing and remind them they don’t have to spend a fortune to look amazing… that’s everything.
Who or what inspires you?
Strong women who go for it! Especially the ones building something while raising families, juggling life and still showing up. I’m also inspired by my son, Beckham, because he reminds me why I started this in the first place. And honestly… my community. The support, the messages, the hype - they keep me going.
What is your favorite piece of advice you've ever received or favorite quote?
“Stop waiting for the right time - it’s not coming.” That one hit me hard. Because growth happens when you just decide and go for it.
What does BEAUTY mean to you?
Beauty is confidence. It’s how you carry yourself, how you treat others and how you show up in your life. It’s not about perfection, it’s about authenticity. When you feel good, it shows. Period.
What advice would you give your past self just starting your business?
Stop overthinking. Start messier. Trust yourself sooner. You don’t need to have it all figured out - you just need to start and adjust along the way.
