When Women Build the Wellness They Wish Existed: Meet Sol Wellness & Aesthetics
Sol Wellness and Aesthetics is co-owned by Jenny Guy and Holly McKibben - both nurse practitioners from Ohio.
Jenny: I live in German Village with my husband and three kids (all under 5!) Holly: I live in Gahanna with my husband and 3 step kids (all teenagers!). Sol Wellness is located in Bridge Park, Dublin.
Holly spent 10+ years as a hospital critical care and trauma NP. She has a 500 hour YTT yoga certification and practices and teaches in Columbus.
Jenny has been a nurse practitioner for 12 years and began working in aesthetic medicine when she was living in California.
Why I started:
Jenny: I’ve been involved in the aesthetics world for over a decade and have always wanted to pursue business ownership. When I turned 40 I decided, if not now, when?
Holly: I felt disheartened taking care of patients with years of accumulated medical problems, and wanted the opportunity to step in sooner; before they ended up in the ICU with no options.

What type of impact do you hope to have on those you meet and/or who purchase your products?
We both strongly believe in the concept that you can’t pour from an empty cup. We want to help people show up healthy, happy and confident. We provide tools to help you fill your cup so you can show up for yourself and the people you love.
Who or what inspires you?
Seeing others’ grit and determination.
What is your favorite piece of advice you've ever received or favorite quote?
Jenny: My philosophy, both in life and aesthetics, is “less but better.”
What does BEAUTY mean to you?
Honestly it’s cliche, but confidence and kindness! Those are the most beautiful attributes.
What advice would you give your past self just starting your business?
Be easy on yourself, this is hard and it takes time. Trust your instincts, stay focused. And lastly, you don’t work in critical care anymore; there are no emergencies; take a deep breath.
