Today, we are meeting Taylor and Joanne, owners of Iconic Pilates!
Hi there!
We’re Taylor and Joanne — sister-in-laws, best friends, and the owners of Iconic Pilates in Streetsboro.
Our business idea actually started because we wanted matching tattoos but couldn’t come up with the perfect idea. So we joked, “Why not create a business instead?” And that’s exactly what we did — we created something we loved so much that we decided to tattoo it on ourselves.
We both fell in love with XFormer Pilates and knew we had found something special. What started as an idea quickly became a passion: creating a space where people could feel strong, confident, and connected while becoming the best versions of themselves.
As our community continued to grow, we knew we wanted to keep expanding what we could offer. That’s when we discovered EMS training, and we immediately knew our Icons would love it. It was the perfect addition to our mission — providing innovative, effective ways to help our clients build strength, reach their goals, and feel empowered throughout their fitness journey.

What we love most about being business owners is the people. We love watching our community grow, celebrating each person’s wins, and creating a space where everyone feels welcomed and supported. Seeing our Icons gain confidence, challenge themselves, and realize what they’re capable of is the most rewarding part of this journey.
What is your favorite advice you’ve ever received?
A VERY wise man tells us: “Every little thing is gonna be alright.” It’s a reminder to trust the process, keep moving forward, and know that even through the challenges of building a business, everything has a way of coming together.
Advice to Our Past Selves:
Roll with the punches, and enjoy every step along the way. Building a business takes patience & flexibility — and the journey is just as meaningful as the destination.
