Meet THINC Chiropractic
Meet THINC Chiropractic!
Tell us about you!
We’re Dr. Zane and Kathryn Gray, the husband-and-wife team behind THINC Chiropractic here in Greenville! Dr. Zane is a chiropractor with a passion for helping individuals and families better understand their bodies and take a proactive approach to their health, while Kathryn serves as our Practice Director and helps bring the THINC experience to life every day. Outside of the office, we’re parents to our daughter, Logan, and we love being part of the Upstate community. Our faith, family, and desire to serve others are at the heart of everything we do.
Tell us about your business!
THINC Chiropractic was created to help people THINC differently about their health. We’re a neurologically focused chiropractic office serving individuals and families throughout the greater Greenville area. While many people first walk through our doors because something hurts, our goal is to look beyond symptoms and better understand how the body is functioning as a whole. We use objective technology and assessments to evaluate the nervous system, movement, posture, and spinal function, then create individualized recommendations based on what we find. We especially love caring for women through the different seasons of life, from busy professionals and athletes to pregnancy, postpartum, motherhood, and beyond, as well as caring for babies, kids, and entire families.
What type of impact do you hope to have on those you meet/speak to?
We want people to leave an interaction with THINC feeling more empowered about their health than when they arrived. Health can sometimes feel overwhelming. There’s so much information telling us what we should eat, take, track, fix, or worry about. We want to help people better understand their bodies and recognize just how incredibly designed and adaptable they are. One of the phrases you’ll hear often at THINC is “God Doesn’t Make Junk.” We believe your body was designed with purpose, and our goal is to help you better understand it, support it, and take an active role in your health.
What advice would you give to yourself from 5 years ago?
Don’t be afraid to do things differently. It’s easy to look around at what everyone else is doing and assume that’s the way it has to be done. Some of the best decisions we’ve made, in business and in life, have come from staying true to our values, trusting the process, surrounding ourselves with great people, and being willing to create something that feels authentically ours. Growth doesn’t always happen as quickly or as perfectly as you imagine it will, but there is so much value in the process.
What does BEAUTY mean to you?
Beauty is becoming more fully who you were created to be. It isn’t perfection. It’s confidence, health, purpose, joy, and being comfortable in your own skin. We believe there is something incredibly beautiful about someone who feels empowered in her body, knows her worth, and has the energy and health to show up for the people and things she loves. #GODDOESNTMAKEJUNK
What do you love most about owning your own business?
The relationships. Owning a business gives us the opportunity to create the kind of place we would want our own family to walk into. We know our practice members by name, celebrate their wins, watch families grow, meet new babies, and get to be part of their lives far beyond an appointment on the schedule. Seven years into THINC, seeing the community that has grown inside our walls is still one of our favorite parts of what we get to do.
Who or what inspires you?
Our faith and our family are at the center of what inspires us. We’re also constantly inspired by the people we serve. We get to watch people make decisions every day to invest in themselves and their families, sometimes after putting themselves last for a very long time. Seeing someone begin to move better, feel better, become more confident in their health, and get back to the things they love never gets old.
What would you like our Beauty Boost members to know?
You don’t have to wait until something is “wrong” to start investing in your health. So often, women become incredibly good at taking care of everyone around them while putting themselves at the bottom of the list. We want you to know that taking care of yourself isn’t selfish. It allows you to show up more fully for everything else that matters to you. Whether you’re navigating stress, pregnancy, postpartum, motherhood, an active lifestyle, or simply wanting to be more proactive with your health, we’d love to be a resource for you. And if you see us at a Beauty Boost event, come say hi! Ask us questions, get checked, and get to know us. We love meeting people in our Greenville community.
