The Yes Audit for a More Fulfilling Year

Hey Gal! Happy Monday!

At some point, we've all heard “just say no more often” — but the truth is, if you're already a high-achieving, socially plugged-in, self-aware woman, the problem isn't that you say yes. It's what you say yes to.

Your calendar is full not because you're careless with your time, but because the things pulling at you are good things — opportunities, relationships, events, collaborations. The trap? Saying yes to too many good things still leaves no room for the right things.

That's where your Yes-Filter comes in. Think of it like your personal alignment check before committing:

1. Does it serve my current season of life?
Not the season you were in six months ago. Not the one you hope to be in later. Now.

2. Is it a “YESSSSS!” or just a “would be nice”?
If it's not a body-tingling yes, it's a slow, draining no in disguise.

3. What's the real cost?
Every yes takes something — time, energy, headspace. What will you have to say no to in order to make this yes happen?

4. Does it align with my bigger picture?
Zoom out: if you said yes to more things like this, where would it take you in 6 months? Is that where you actually want to go?

When you start filtering your yeses like this, something magical happens: the guilt fades. Why? Because your “no” isn't about rejection — it's about direction. You're protecting your ability to show up fully for the right things, not apologizing for missing out on the rest.

So, the next time an opportunity crosses your inbox or your group chat, run it through your Yes-Filter. Chances are, you'll end up with fewer yeses — but a much more fulfilling life:)
