How PureMD Began — and How It’s Evolved
The PureMD story began in 2013, when Dr. Suresh Gupta founded Tranquility Laser Center in Dayton, Ohio. At the very beginning, the practice specialized in liposuction and laser treatments, combining medical precision with aesthetic artistry to deliver natural, lasting results.
In 2015, Dr. Gupta expanded his vision by acquiring PureMD Dayton and uniting both under a single brand — PureMD MedSpa. This marked the birth of a new concept in medical aesthetics: a physician-directed medspa where technology, expertise, and compassion come together to empower confidence and self-care.
Over the past 10 years, PureMD has continued to grow successfully, expanding into multiple Ohio locations and evolving into a trusted name in advanced skin, body, and wellness treatments. What started as a single center has become a regional brand — built on experience, innovation, and a commitment to helping patients look and feel their best.
